Lun, situated on the picturesque island of Pag, is home to 80,000 olive trees, outlandishly including 1500 wild olives (Olea Oleaster Lat.). These trees, known for their impressive height of 5-8 metres are believed by experts to have lived for more than 1500 years! Due to its extraordinary characteristics and botanical value, this 24-hectare area was declared a botanical park in 1963. Passersby can enjoy a scenic 2km stroll through these unique trees with age-old roots embedded in the rocks of Pag.
